Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This page explains the ones used on the Off The Rails websites and how to control them. For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy.

Your choices

When you first visit, a banner asks which cookies you're happy with. Necessary cookies are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies stay off unless you turn them on. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, which is also linked in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing cookies stay off.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working.

Necessary cookies

Always on. They make the site work and remember your choices.

• otr_consent: remembers your cookie choices. Kept for 6 months.
• otr_gate: only while a site is in private preview, remembers that you entered the preview password. Kept for 30 days.
• Cloudflare security cookies (such as __cf_bm): may be set by our hosting provider to tell real visitors from bots. Kept for up to 30 minutes.
• Preview cookies (such as __prerender_bypass): only set for our staff while they edit the site.

Analytics cookies

Only with your permission. They show us which pages people visit and how they found us, so we can improve the sites.

• Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): counts visits and how the site is used. Kept for up to 2 years.

Marketing cookies

Only with your permission. They help us measure our ads and show our shows to people who might like them on other platforms.

• Google Ads (_gcl_au): measures ad clicks and results. Kept for up to 90 days.
• Meta Pixel (_fbp): for Facebook and Instagram ads. Kept for up to 90 days.
• TikTok Pixel (_ttp): for TikTok ads. Kept for up to 13 months.

Each site only uses the tools it has switched on, so you may not see all of these. If we add a new tool, it will follow your existing choices and we'll list it here.

Other websites

Ticketing partners, artists' pages and social media sites we link to set their own cookies under their own policies once you visit them.
